PET WELLNESS EXAMS
Full clinical examination from head to toe, making sure your pet is reassured and comfortable throughout without compromising the thoroughness of their wellness exam.
PUPPY & KITTEN VACCINE COURSES
We know how hard it can be to take a full litter of puppies or kittens to the vets, so at Hillside Animal Medics, we come to you! This saves the difficulty of transporting them as well as avoiding the risks of taking your youngsters into a public space with other pets around.
First vaccines and full courses available, happy to discuss special deals for frequent breeders.
MICROCHIPPING
Our microchips are from peddymark and are registered with Animal Tracker - fully DEFRA recognised and easy to access information if your pets are ever lost.
Puppies must be microchipped by the breeder before 8 weeks old and kittens must be microchipped by 20 weeks old.
Microchipping isn't limited to cats and dogs - our extra tiny chips are suitable for all species!
PROGESTERONE & REVERSE PROGESTERONE TESTING
Same day results (usually within an hour of sampling) to find the best time to mate your dog as well as helping predict whelping. Vital for increasing litter size and success rates as well as helping avoid stress by ensuring you only visit the stud when your girl is ready.
ULTRASOUND SCANNING
Hillside Animal Medics' veterinary specific ultrasound scanner lets us show you some gorgeous images of developing puppies in the womb. All pregnancy pictures are sent to you for you to use as you wish. We also have an ultrasound printer if you would like hard copies. If you scan & vaccinate with us, you get a free print out of your favourite picture per puppy!
DNA TESTING
We are passionate about helping people to make sure that they know exactly which DNA and other health tests are required for their pets and can fill in all the paperwork for you as well as sending everything off to the lab.
We are proud to be partnered with Embark and always keep stock in at prices lower than if you go direct!
HEARING TESTING
BAER (hearing) testing for your litter or adult. Our veterinary specific BAER machine allows us to measure exactly how well your pet can hear through each ear. Part of the Kennel Club recommended breeding health tests for selected breeds, we can send results certificates in directly!
NAIL CLIPPING & ANAL GLAND EMPTYING
Treat your pampered pet to a pedicure or a freshening up of their anal glands to keep them in tip top shape!
